But Who really needs Anquan Boldin? The Jacksonville Jaguars! They have tried to find break through WR's in the draft but haven't had one since Jimmy Smith Retired... So why not take your 8th pick and turn it over for someone who plays and is proven at a position you are in desperate need of? Think about what Anquan Boldin has done... He was one of the main reason that one of the cellar franchises (as far as on field performance) in pro sports pulled a complete 180. The Jag's acquisition of Boldin only makes sense, they have spent money on other skilled players such as Maurice Jones-Drew in order to keep them in Northern Florida, so why not give those players another tool so they can be more successful?
This trade is also much more enticing for the Cardinals. You have to think about what they are giving up. Boldin is an amazing talent, one that does not come around every year. With the 8th pick they could jump in and grab one of the seemingly "true can't-miss studs" available on the defensive side of the ball, such as Brian Orakpo, Rey Maualuga, or Aaron Maybin.
In my opinion this makes perfect sense... This move would give the Jaguars what they have been searching for, and allow the Cardinals to solidify their Swiss-cheese-like defense and use their late pick to trade up or get a bargain running back to compliment Tim Hightower as Edgerrin James ages.
